was reading this book on Memoirs of Lee Kuan Yew
came across the part when Japan invaded Singapore
and how the British walked out on her.

this was not enough to knock my senses.
what hit me most was how brutal the Japanese soldiers were towards the commoners.

how they treated them like rubbish-chute.
how they gorged dirty water into their already bloated tummy and sat on them.
how they treated women as sex-slaves.

once when Dr Goh Keng Swee was locked up in a room with around 30people
his experience was to see the menstrual blood of those women with the same fate as him.
we can never comprehend the grotesque scenes that our ancestors have witnessed.

merely picturing all these brutal scenes as already sufficient to traumatise one.
what about those Comfort Women of the past?
touching on the topic of Comfort Women,
they are the ones whom have been
sexually assaulted, physically abused, emotionally and socially inferior.

And yet, the heartless Japanese soldiers have been trying means and ways
to rid Comfort Women, so as to destroy evidence of the painful past.

Comfort Women.
they are the ones who have the courage to live on.
they are not going to stop until they have achieved True Justice.
even if Japan owns up to its crime against Comfort Women of World War II,
these women's heart may feel lighter but not completely.
as one knows, it would
never ever. go away.

personally spent some time on watching some videos pertaining
interviews of Comfort Women.
well, i know they need support from people around the world.
all i can say is i am morally supporting them
to gain the acknowldgement they deem fit.

for everyone's information, every wednesday is when these Comfort Women of the past
carry out their demostrations in front of the Japanese Embassy in Seoul
for their fight for Justice. for an official apology.

May this brutal lesson be a reminder that nothing of these is to be repeated again
Peace to the world.
